The 26th Geneva International Haute Horlogerie Ushered In A Major Reform The Number Of Participating Brands Increased To 24

From January 18th to 22nd, 2016, the 26th Geneva International Haute Horlogerie Salon (SIHH) will kick off with a new look. In addition to the regular 15 exhibiting brands, this salon will also welcome 9 independent watchmakers, and will debut with Carré des Horlogers. The opening of the Geneva International Haute Horlogerie Salon played a prelude to the development of watchmaking in the new year. Last year’s performance of the salon was exciting. After major reforms this year, it is expected to be equally impressive.
New decoration
The salon architecture will transform from the concept of ‘City of Fine Watchmaking’ to modern fashion in the past decade, providing exhibitors with ample creative space, setting up booths, conceiving interiors and focusing on the latest product lines.
New face
Carré des Horlogers, set up for creative watchmaking, independent workshops and the new guardian of watchmaking, will make its debut in the salon next year, and the number of participating brands will increase to 24. This initiative is sponsored by the salon’s sponsor, the Swiss Foundation for Fine Watchmaking, and aims to bring together the brands that represent the value of fine watchmaking to show its richness and diversity.
With the strong support of participating brands, the Geneva International Watch Salon has become the most important trade exhibition in the industry for many years. Some have a history of hundreds of years, and some have just matured. All participating brands interpret their fine watchmaking craftsmanship in their own way, which is why the Geneva International Haute Horlogerie is so unique and successful. A new booth has been set up to welcome new faces. In the next few years, we can look forward to more exciting Geneva International High Watch & Clock Salon.
